1. iRobot s8
This smart robot mop and vacuum combo is an excellent option for households with a variety of. It vacuums and mops well, has excellent navigation with both GPS and laser sensors and has a wide range of features and controls that are accessible via the app. It also has a handy feature which allows you to create cleaning zones in areas that require extra attention, as well as Keep Out zones in areas that you don't want it to be. While Anker-owned Eufy has made an impact in the field of low-cost robot vacuums, it hasn't previously offered an all-in-one model that could also mop. That's changed with the X8 Hybrid, which has an impressive set of modern features that can compete with more expensive models.
The laser navigation system is the primary selling point of this machine. The previous Eufy devices have created an outline of your home by using infrared sensors and bumping into things, but the X8's laser mapping system is much more accurate. The X8 is a great vacuum cleaner for floors with no dust. It can easily sling debris through the side brushes and into the 400ml dustbin. The X8's tyres, despite their circular shape, are very good in grabbing corners and edges. Our tests showed that it could only remove 90 percent of the fur on hard floors.
The mopping mode that is the basic one uses the same reservoir of water as the vacuuming mode. While this is a good option for spills that aren't too big, you can't limit the amount of water it is using which can limit its effectiveness on more severe staining. However, it does an admirable job of removing pet hair, and has a higher speed of pickup than the Roborock S7.
3. Miele RX2
Miele's RX2 robotic vacuum is known for its quiet, powerful appliances. It has a beautiful design, superb navigation and an impressive cleaning power. There are a few niggles in its operation that prevent it from being considered the top smart robot vacuum.
The RX2 is equipped with a dual-sensor mapping technology that makes use of LIDAR to map a room and a pair of 3D scanning cameras for detecting and eliminating obstacles (such as furniture legs or pet waste). You can also schedule daily or weekly cleanings, create no-go zones and check its cleaning history. Ion is clad in a sophisticated dark gray plastic that feels and looks appealing in your home. Its rear dustbin is easily accessible for emptying, and removing the filters is also simple.
5. Eufy 11S
If you're looking to buy a basic, no-frills robot vacuum at a reasonable cost, the Eufy 11S is a great option. It isn't equipped with some of the smart features, such as digital mapping and Alexa integration, which are available in more expensive models, however, if you don't require these functions, you can save money with this model.

Like other robots, the 11S will suck up some objects, such as cords hoodie drawstrings, and cat toys. The manufacturer suggests that you can prevent this by keeping such objects off the floor and by using a cord organizer if possible. It also suggests that you regularly clean the dustbin, change the filters and wash or change the brushes when needed.
Roomba 990 from iRobot
The Roomba 980 is iRobot's most popular robot vacuum. It's costly however it's an excellent performer and, in some ways, the most advanced robot vacuum you can purchase. Its self-navigation as well as environmental mapping is a marvel to behold. It is more sophisticated in its automation than its competitors, such as the ability to set up virtual boundary markers with its mobile application. Although the application is a bit slow and the 980 can spin a bit when moving over cables, it's a very capable robot vacuum.
